The studio

Armagh is a residential architecture studio in Salt Lake City. We design year-round homes, ski cabins, and family compounds across Park City, Deer Valley, the Heber Valley, and the broader Wasatch Back.
Practice
The studio is small on purpose. We take on a deliberately limited number of projects each year so that the principal stays close to every drawing, every consultant coordination, and every job-site decision. Clients work with the architect — not an account manager.
Approach
Every project begins on the land. Before we sketch, we walk the site, study the prevailing light and weather, and talk through how the family actually lives. The brief that comes out of those conversations is the basis for everything that follows. We treat the program as a question to be answered, not a list of rooms to be drawn.
Materially we favor restraint. A short palette, honest detailing, and a respect for the builders who will execute the work. The houses we design are meant to age — to soften and weather rather than to date.
